Artists' Profiles

Helen Adove Hawk

Helen Adove Hawk is a shamanically inspired multi-disciplinary artist: working with Voice, Sound Production, Visual Arts, Butoh Dance and Performance Art.

As a Dance Artist she works with Butoh contemporary dance and Authentic movement to explore the inner realities of the psyche conveyed through physical form.

With the body as a map of mythic awareness, she takes us on a journey through a vast inner landscape and delves deep within hidden dimensions of somatic experience. Here she uncovers the archetypal energies that wish to be expressed in the form of the ancient revealed lore of the body.
